A note to the many friends of Mama's...this is Mike DeAngelis, I handle the page for Mama's. I want to apologize for not posting information here about Mama's closing...I didn't know, until I started receiving private messages on this page. I tried, without success, to get the facts for you.

I live about 40 minutes from the restaurant and don't work there...my activity has been limited to the post you see on this page. I also did the Website for Mama's.

I didn't post publicly about the closing at first, because without confirmation, I didn't want to give you incorrect information. But it seems clear that the restaurant has, in fact, closed. If more information becomes available to me in the future, I will of course share it with you.

And on a personal note, many of you have shared your feelings about dining at Mama's. I can tell you honestly, from first-hand experience in doing this for several years, that your loyalty to the restaurant was always appreciated. I've eaten there. All of the food photos you're seen here and on the Website were taken by me. I've been in the kitchen on many occasions...professional, and clean as a whistle. I've seen the ingredients that went into the meals. When I've told you that they were the freshest and finest available, it's because I knew that to be the absolute truth.

Thank you for your patience during what has been an uncertain time for all of us. May life continue to bring you many blessings and much happiness in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
