So not sure if anyone saw last Thursday, but online was on at both stores for a little bit…

The website is redesigned with both stores, and separate tabs for each stores online link… what is the over under date on when someone will show up to the wrong store to pickup an online order????

Anyway - we will turn it on now, both stores accepting online orders. Please read the top to make sure you have the right store - officially we are calling the original “Emilio’s Arden Mill” and the new store “Emilio’s Tega Cay”.

EDIT2: For some reason an automated attendant answers the calls, If you hit Zero it goes to the cashiers... trying to change that now.

(I am so bad with writing down phone numbers... in the old days I would write down phone numbers and addresses for deliveries wrong all the time, my drivers hated me)

Call ins will be accepted starting now.

Menu attached - only update for today is we do have Grandma Pizzas. The Angelina is available, not the Vodka.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Last week was great, I wish I could post side by side pictures of pizzas, but feel like the new oven is working well - it will take some time to get it seasoned, but we will do our best.

So while we finish getting some of the lessons learned last week worked out, and get ready for our opening on June 2nd we will be open Tu-Sa from 11-7 with a limited menu for Take Out only.

But there have been a couple changes from last week, the new table tops are in and we are waiting on the stools. You will continue to see updates each week as it won’t be completely ready for a bit.

We are down a chef tonight, so no pasta, entrees or subs this evening.

We will have salads, wings, cheese sticks, fries and tenders - (and you can ask if we are doing meatball or chicken parm subs… we will try)

Arden Mill - normal hours today, will be closed all day Monday.

Tega Cay - Closed Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

Next week we will have a little more expanded menu starting Tuesday, I will post it in the morning. Still the plan is to officially open June 2nd.

We received a lot of applications this past week, we will be going through them and reaching back out to people who we want to have come back. We will continue to accept applications next week 2:30-4:30.

I had a nice detailed post all written earlier today, and p**f, lost internet and it disappeared…

There will be 2-3 people at Tega Cay today and tomorrow. No guarantee they are serving, so if you can’t handle disappointment, please don’t come down. But if you want to see the beginning of the changes, say hi and see if you can get a pizza, feel free to stop by. But please be warned, this is a pre-pre-pre soft opening, no guarantees, but our chef is dying to be making pizzas, so he will do his best. Pizza and premade salads (maybe) only. Closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, more about next week later.

Arden Mill - normal except - online is off (to not confuse people) and we will be closed Monday for Memorial Day - to remember those that have fallen.

I’ll try to recreate the other post, but we are heading to our cousins wedding in Miami, so not sure when I can.

You can’t crush us… but if someone wants to grab a pizza or wings in Tega Cay, the doors are unlocked.

On January 6th, while sitting at an ice rink in Raleigh, we announced that we would be taking over the Village Pizza location in Tega Cay. It was a surreal moment for us, the outpouring of support and love was beyond anything we could have ever expected. When we moved our family to Fort Mill in 2021, we had no idea what the future held for us, and a restaurant wasn’t even a thought at that time, let alone two… these last two plus years have truly been a humbling experience and one we are so grateful to the community to have accepted us in this way.

Initially, I thought we might be open by 3/15 if everything went perfectly, but realistically (silently) I was hoping by April 1st. Then you start to realize you need to change a couple more things, there are equipment delays, etc. It just isn’t easy to get everything in place quickly.

But today is an awesome day. We officially have the “A” on the window and we are approved by the Dept of Agriculture to open.

While more to come on next steps, we are targeting June 2nd as the official first day. We will have some soft openings at days and times before the 2nd… stay tuned to the page - it will be limited supply during these times.

If interested, this Wednesday through Friday, feel free to fill out an application from 2:30-4:30PM at the Tega Cay location. We will be hiring Cashiers, Runners, Cooks, Pizza Cooks, Dishwashers and a Bartender.

Great morning - watched my girls Irish Dance and then off to the Italian Fest at St Philip Neri for lunch…

Nothing like a little Heritage all in one day.
