Hello friends we have both decided that it's time to close our business and retire, the last 3 years have been tough to say the least, we opened in Burlington as the covid pandemic began after we had put every cent we had setting the business up and it was an uphill struggle from that moment on which has taken its toll on both of us, we purchased a wonderful building in Fort Madison and was welcomed into the community by the City and people and we are very grateful for that, our reviews have been amazing and the comments and feedback touched our hearts, our food and service has been greatly recieved and that made us very happy too, on this journey we have met some wonderful people from all areas of the country, and a lot of them became good friends, our goal was to serve people with good food, desserts and drinks that you couldn't get anywhere else, but our main goal was to bless people the best that we could, and I think we accomplished that, we would both like to thank every single person who were kind enough to come and see us and support us it really means the world to us, thank you, for those of you who helped us when we were struggling emotionally thank you, for those of you who gave us both encouragement when we needed it thank you, for those of you who prayed with us thank you, for the 3,500 followers who were kind enough to follow us and give us some wonderful comments and feedback thank you.
It's been quite a journey and we will take the good memories with us and we will treasure them.
We will be closing the business on Sunday 23rd October after breakfast service.
