Michael’s Restaurant I grew up in a suburb outside of Detroit, Michigan. I was blessed to be exposed to every culture of food living in such a diverse community.

I began at an early age to live by my motto, “I do not eat to live, I live to eat”! Some of my fondest memories are of me and my brother Michael eating a sandwich dreaming of the day when we would open up a restaurant serving all of the delicious soups and sandwiches we love to eat. Michael and I knew all of the components needed to make such a place exist and knew when the time was right, we would be able to live our dream. Unfortunately my brother Michael passed away before we were able to open our dream restaurant. I knew in my heart I could not let our dream die... Therefore I have opened Michaels in tribute to him. I know that Michael is watching down on me, guiding me while I make our dream a reality.
