National Dog Day is coming to The Grove on August 26. We’re rolling out a special menu made just for pups, plus a doggie treat bag for every good boy and girl who stops by.

Lucky One Lemonade will be on site for a refreshing tasting too. Lucky One is a real vodka lemonade backed by Miss Peaches, a rescue pit bull turned social media star, with proceeds helping dogs find their forever homes.

Rum belongs in your glass. We put it in the barbecue sauce too.

Sunday is National Rum Day. The Grove's own barbecue sauce is made with Mount Gay rum, sweet and smoky with the molasses edge the rum brings. Get it on the wings, on a burger, on the fish sandwich, on the barbecue chicken pizza, on the nachos.

The water is flat, the mangroves close in, and you will pass herons and turtles on the way. No waves, no boat traffic, no reason to hurry. Kayaks and paddleboards are at the rental hut, so you can be on the water in a few minutes.
