50 year old breakfast and lunch restaurant, locally owned and managed, serving Dungeness Crab, local meats and produce and Eggs Benedict with housemade, original hollandaise sauces. Marvin and I have been privileged, by the grace of God, to shepherd this lovely place for 22 of its 46 years. Having survived another Extinction Level Event (for you syfy nerds like me) we are ever grateful. We have the best staff on the planet and they are truly amazing. That goes for all you alumni also!! I heard a quote I want to share from a co-founder of an Ohio-based restaurant chain: “a friend of mine always says ‘Tough times don’t last but tough people do.’” That is who Eggheads is, a group of tough people, and so is Fort Bragg. So glad to be able to serve you in our humble dining room. Becky Parrish (the woman behind the man behind the curtain)

Bob Baum was in Eggheads soon after we bought it in 1999. When we reopen on Nov 1, from our cleaning/maintenance this month, check out the autographed picture of his great grandfather and the Christmas card he drew us. Framed and hanging in the honeymoon suite!

In remembrance of Robert Baum, who passed away at the age of 83 on October 8, 2025.

The great-grandson of L. Frank Baum appeared in many documentaries and was an advisor for "The Dreamer of Oz"; he also appeared briefly in the 1990 TV movie as an Aberdeen townsperson.
