Today, we had a gentleman come into the restaurant before we even opened because he was in a desperate situation. He was on his way to a job interview and had spilled coffee all over his resume. He remembered that we’re the only public library in town and asked if he could print a new copy.

So, in the middle of prep lists, opening duties, and the morning rush to get ready for the day… we stopped and helped someone who needed it.

That’s what libraries are. They are so much more than books on shelves. They are access. They are opportunity. They are community. Sometimes, they are the difference between someone walking into an interview confident and prepared… or not walking in at all.

We first rolled these out back in early 2022 during our Dallas ghost kitchen days, and today felt like the perfect excuse to bring them back for a little nostalgia.

Wow… y’all showed UP for the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich today!

We officially sold out by 12:30, and honestly, we had no idea there was that much desire for a nostalgic Midwestern classic. Sadly, we won’t have any available tomorrow, but don’t worry — this sandwich will absolutely be making a comeback ASAP.

Our daughter’s Senior prom and 18th birthday are both happening over the next week, and we’re taking a little time to be there for her.

We will be closing at 2pm tomorrow and 3pm on Wednesday to celebrate those very special family moments 💕

We get asked all the time… “Why no French fries?”

Short answer: because we won’t do them halfway.

Fries seem simple, but to do them right takes the right equipment, space, and setup—and we’re limited on all three. Rather than put something on the menu that’s just okay, we’d rather focus on doing what we do served the right way, every single time.

We know fries are a classic, but around here we’re all about quality over checking a box.

And making "trying to be funny" fry comments on our posts actually hurt our business. So, please don't be that person if you actually want to see us succeed...
