☀️🥨 A LITTLE INTRO FROM THE GIRL BEHIND SUN & SALT 🥨☀️

Hi, neighbors! 💛

I realized I’ve been sharing a whole lot of pretzels lately, but I haven’t really introduced the person behind Sun & Salt Pretzel Bites.

I’m Haley! 👋🏼 I’m a mom, a wife, and the person behind this little business I’ve been building from my own home.

During the week, I work as a caregiver, so my weekdays are pretty full. Then when the weekend comes around, I switch gears and become the baker, prep cook, photographer, packer, customer service department, social media manager, delivery coordinator… basically the entire Sun & Salt team. 😂🥨

It’s just me.

I make the pretzels.
I prep the orders.
I package everything.
I answer the messages.
I take the pictures.
I make the posts.
I clean up the kitchen.
And then I do it all over again. 😂

And because I’m one person balancing work, motherhood, family, and a growing small business, I use the tools available to me to help save time.

That includes AI and photo-editing tools.

I want to be transparent about that because I know there are different opinions about AI. Sometimes I use it to brighten or clean up a photo of my actual food, and sometimes I use it to help create a flyer or marketing graphic.

Here’s a little example! 👇🏼

📸 The first photo is the actual photo I took of my S’mores Pretzel Bites.
✨ The second is that SAME photo after I used editing/AI tools to clean up the lighting and make it look a little more polished.

Same pretzels. Same cup. Just a little glow-up. 😂🥨

The food I sell is real, and it’s made by me. The flavors, recipes, prep, packaging, and orders are all part of the little business I’m building with my own two hands.

I’m not a big company. I don’t have a marketing team. I don’t have a professional photographer. I don’t have someone running my social media.

I’m the team. 😂

And I’m honestly really proud of that.

Sun & Salt is still small, but I’m working hard to grow it little by little and hopefully turn it into something really special.
