If you’ve ever walked the halls of Grand Lodge and swore you saw someone on the balcony who actually wasn't there... your eyes didn't deceive you.

Some infamous events have happened in these storied halls, and it seems a few may have decided to stick around.

There’s the Lavender Lady, who has been seen walking down the first-floor hallway.

And then there’s the Children’s Cottage… where you might spot a face peeking out from a window or find child-sized handprints on the glass.

On the Grand Lodge Ghost Tour, you’ll hear the history of the building. including some stories about its more permanent residents.

There are multiple tour dates throughout October leading up to Halloween.

Okay, who let dessert into the Fermentation Chamber? 👀

Meet the new Caramel Apple Pie Shrub! Made with McMenamins Gardens apples, cinnamon, and caramel sauce.

And because we like to keep things local, the caramel comes from Holy Kakow, a regional producer in Sisters, Oregon.

Starting in October, this little fall creation will be making its way onto menus in our Caramel Apple Pie à la Mode, a non-boozy libation that basically said, “What if apple pie… was a drink?” 👀

Honestly, we're adding this to our fall cozy rotation.

Oktoberfest Specials are happening September 18th–October 3rd! 🍻

We’ve got German-style food and drink specials, including Currywurst & Fries, the Oktoberfest Plate, Little Bavaria Chicken Sandwich, Black Forest Bundt Cake, Deer & a Beer, and Wunderpop Dirty Soda.

Basically, we found an excellent excuse to eat sausages, drink beer, and call it Oktoberfest.

Hobbit Day is Sunday, September 20th at Grand Lodge! 🧙‍♂️

Join us from 10am–6pm for a free, all-ages celebration with food & drink specials, Discovery Hunt, plant & art vendors, headband crafting, Middle-earth trivia, a costume contest, and live music in the evening.

Basically, we’re spending the day celebrating the things Hobbits do best: eating, drinking, and generally having a very good time.
