Thank you, sweet friends! A couple hundred cinnamon rolls went out the door today, and you still managed to buy every single one of them.

Small Town Sweets is officially SOLD OUT for the weekend! 🎉

I've been gone all day and wasn't able to restock the cart earlier, but I just got back and it looks like you all have been keeping me busy!

I've put everything I have left for the weekend out on the cart. If you stopped by earlier and found it empty, you can swing back and take another look.

Just a heads up, what is currently on the cart is all I have remaining for the entire weekend, so once it's gone, it's gone!

This Midwest staple is always a crowd favorite! Around here, I've heard it called so many different names over the years.

Hi sweet friends,

After taking a couple of weeks away to be with family following the loss of my dad, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things and working on this weekend's menu.

Small Town Sweets will be open Friday, June 19th through Sunday, June 21st (or until sold out), and I can't tell you how much I've missed baking for all of you.

As I put together the menu, I'd love a little help making decisions. What would you like to see in the cart this weekend? Cinnamon roll flavors, cookies, breads, bars, or any favorites you've been craving? Drop your ideas in the comments below!

Thank you all for your kindness, prayers, messages, and patience these past couple of weeks. They have meant more than you know. ❤️

Hi sweet friends,

Life has looked a little different for my family lately. My dad recently passed away, and I've been taking some time to be with my family.

If you've reached out about an order or sent a message, please know I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. I am working through messages and will respond as soon as I can.

Small Town Sweets will be closed on June 12th and 13th as we prepare for his funeral. I'm sorry this means being closed two weekends in a row, and I deeply appreciate your understanding. All pre-orders will still be filled as planned.

What a weekend it's been. 🥹✨

Today started with stocking the bakery cart in Forest City before heading to Shady Oak Farm for their Books & Baby Goats event. Between the beautiful weather, happy customers, and watching my girls enjoy the day, it couldn't have been more perfect. By the end of the event, I had completely SOLD OUT. When I got home and checked on the bakery cart, I discovered it had SOLD OUT too. My heart is so full. 💛

When I first dreamed up the idea of a self-serve bakery cart, I was nervous. It was something completely new for our community, and I truly had no idea how it would be received. Taking that leap felt scary, but from the very beginning, this community embraced it in ways I never expected.

What started as a simple idea has grown into something so much bigger than I imagined. Every weekend, hundreds of cinnamon rolls make their way into your homes, and what brings me the most joy isn't just the baking-it's seeing your support, your smiling faces, and knowing this little cart has become part of so many of your weekends.

To every person who has stopped by, shared a post, told a friend, left a kind note, or purchased a cinnamon roll: thank you. Your support, encouragement, and kindness mean more than words can express.

Thank you for believing in this little dream and for embracing something new. Because of you, this bakery cart has become something truly special.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting my family, my passion, and this small business. I am endlessly grateful.
