Happy Birthday, Bobby Rush! we will be celebrating his birthday tonight at 5 o’clock at the Old rocks place. We will be serving catfish with french fries and hush puppies, cheeseburgers, hotdogs, and chili. y’all come see us.

Update: Well Life is throwing me all kinds of curve balls. With the Shooting that took place in my town, to the delay on my freezer, (I did get it, and it’s beautiful), and my vehicles needing several big repairs. To now My Job position at my main job (that pays the Bills and the food for the food truck) has changed. With it I will make more money, and it will enable me to get things better stocked, repaired, and things paid off and hopefully to save to keep from strugglingin the event of big money events causing problems. But it will have me very busy for a few months. We are not giving up on our food truck, we are just being delayed. I promise you we will be back, and we will be back bigger and better then before with more items added. I will miss you guys. I hope to be back out as soon as I can. I keep you posted, don’t forget us, we will be back. Thank you for all your love and support, see you guys soon in the future.

Update: I will be receiving my new freezer soon. Then, the work begins again to gather up my food supplies and get back to cooking. It will take me another month to build my money back up to start purchasing food again. But we are getting closer to reopening soon.

Update: Good news first- Well we found a freezer, it will be a couple weeks before it can be delivered. Bad news- now my Truck is having issues and has to go into the shop for repairs. Please keep us in your prayers. We are not giving up. Just having set backs. Hoping for a fall comeback.

 Update: well I found a freezer, was even going to be bigger than what I previously had, was super excited, the man said it was on a sale, and that I was also getting a discount added, didn’t pay attention to the receipt at the time because we told the man which one we were interested in, we had our hands on the display model, and proceeded to tell us that, It was special order but was available and that it would take a week to two weeks to get it, and get it delivered. Because I’d requested delivery if it was available. So a week later, I happen to pay attention to the receipt, and the man did not charge me for the freezer I wanted. Instead he charged me for a freezer half the size smaller. Spent anwhile on the phone with the Lowes I bought it from, and the Lowes that was picking it up and delivering it,
The one closer to my home. They took my information, said they would call me back. My order was canceled. And I haven’t heard anything from anyone. Seems like I can’t catch a break right now. I am not giving up. I will get what I need, and, S and S good eats! will return. We will be cooking our delicious food, just as soon as I possibly can. keep us in your prayers. We are working very hard to get back out to serve you.

Well, I have some unfortunate news. We have had a setback that no start up food truck or any startup food business should ever have to endure when they’re just starting out and have no spare money because they’ve done put so much into what they are trying to start with. My big freezer has gone out, and with it went $1000 worth of food stock. So now I am back to almost square one. It is going to take me a month if not more to make the money back to spend on a new freezer and to restock all the food I lost. So I have to cancel our set ups for this whole month . I just hope that I can replenish enough to at least get one to two set up days in as soon as I can. But it’s gonna take a little bit of time for me to replenish $2000 worth of product and a new freezer. Sorry for any inconvenience to anyone who is very much looking forward to us serving you our good food. We hope to be back out again just as soon as we possibly can. I will keep you posted for any changes, so you don’t forget us. Thank you everyone who has supported us and hope to see you soon.

So to everyone that follows me, I have a full-time job, the thing about starting up a new business is, it takes time for it to grow, so till then I still have to work my full-time job, my full-time job has run into some difficulties that I have to tend to. So I will be unable to set up my food truck this weekend and probably for the rest of this month, I’ll keep you posted for for any changes. Sorry for any inconvenience to you guys.
