Our special today is guaranteed to make you say yee-haw!🤠 The BBQ Cowboy Melt is the perfect comfort food on this dreary day.

Loaded with bbq pulled pork, chipotle aioli, melted cheddar and pepper jack cheese, roasted corn and black bean salsa, applewood smoked bacon, and battered onion rings all on thick sliced Texas toast and served with a side of guacamole. Giddy up!😆

We’re a little late getting our Sweet Tooth post out this week… but we have a pretty good excuse. 😉 The Pig Rig was out last night and you guys kept us BUSY! We’ll take that problem any day! 🧡🐷🚚

So today, we’re combining a little savory + sweet because Wednesdays deserve both!

Wow!!! 😮That was so much fun! 🐷🚚🧡

We want to thank everyone who came out Thursday night for our very first roll-out with our Pig Rig!!

The nerves were on edge all day as we mentally and physically prepared for the evening. We've been working so hard lately on this newest project- we were feeling all the emotions. Excited! Scared! Nervous! But.... we had to get that first one under our belts so that we could push forward! And... we survived! 😃

📣A BIG shout out to John, Allison's husband, who made a lot of this possible. The work he's put in on this trailer in the past few months has been incredible to say the least! 🧡

📣Another shout out goes out to Cole, one of our line cooks, who came to "visit" during our initial night. He was SO excited about our menu... but we told him if he was going to show up... we'd probably put him to work and that we did!!!! In case you're wondering what his favorite menu item was- My Shawarma for the win!!!🐔🍅🥙

Folks were lining up at 5pm, ready for the Pig Rig to be set into action! We opened that window and there was no looking back! We kept moving and adapting and having so much fun while doing it! 🐷🥓

If you know us at all... you know we love to be creative with the food we present to you. While we started with a few items for now on the trailer, don't worry, we're already dreaming up all the things we can make!🥪🍔🍳 But, we don't want to get too far ahead just yet! Even though we were having fun with the first roll-out, we were taking notes and listening to suggestions. There's always room for improvement! So, please, be patient with us and we welcome your feedback!

We want to THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us here at the restaurant and now the Pig Rig. It's so hard to put into words how grateful we are for YOU. ❤️Thank for coming out Thursday night, grabbing some dinner, sharing a smile, hanging out and hopefully 😬enjoying our food!! 🧡 THE PIG RIG IS HITTING THE ROAD! 🧡

Okay… this is actually happening. This evening is our SOFT OPENING! Right here in our own Sweet and Salty Pig lot. 🚚💨

After months of dreaming, planning, designing, building, stressing, and probably questioning our life choices a few times… 😂 The Pig Rig is ready to roll!

We’ll be serving up our very first menu of scratch-made, road-ready food, along with a few fun new Lotus energy drinks we’ve been experimenting with. 👀⚡️

Tonight is all about getting our feet under us, putting the truck through its paces, and—most importantly—feeding YOU!

Tonight is the night!! We’ll be serving this first menu from 5pm-7pm. So, come right here to 99 W Pioneer Rd, (our own parking lot lol) and check us out, grab some food, tell us what you think, and help us officially kick off this crazy new adventure!

One tiny favor: remember, this is a soft opening. 😉 We’re learning the truck, the setup, the flow, and how to make everything run as smoothly as possible. So bring your appetite… and maybe a little patience. 😂
