To My Godfrey's Flagship Family,
There are moments in life that are incredibly difficult to put into words, and this is one of them.
After much prayer, reflection, and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Godfrey's Flagship.
For more than 20 years, Jackson and the surrounding communities have embraced me, supported me, and allowed me to do what I love most—serve people through food. What began as a dream became something far greater because of each of you. You celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, and milestones with me. You trusted me to cater your most important events. You shared meals, laughter, stories, and friendship within these walls. Many of you became more than customers—you became family.
This decision was not made lightly. Like many small businesses, we have faced increasing costs, economic challenges, and the realities of operating a restaurant in today's environment. While this chapter is coming to an end, I know it is the right decision for me and my family at this time.
Before we close our doors, I would love the opportunity to serve you one last time.
Godfrey's Flagship will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. I invite you to come by, enjoy your favorite meal, share a memory, and help us celebrate everything we have built together over the years.

Most importantly, I want everyone to know that this is not goodbye.
While Godfrey's Flagship may be closing, I am still here and ready to serve you. I will continue offering catering services, private dinners, meal preparation, corporate events, special occasions, and customized culinary experiences throughout our community.
I truly believe that when one door closes, God opens another. I am excited to see what the future holds and look forward to continuing to serve you in new ways.
