Yesterday was a hard one for the South Suburbs. The storms that tore through on Monday hit close to home. Downed trees, flooded streets, damaged homes, and so many of our neighbors still in the dark tonight.
If that is you, we are thinking of you, and we mean it. A torn up home, a long cleanup, a night without power. None of it is small, and none of it is lost on us.
Our doors are open. If you need somewhere to charge your phone, cool off, sit down to a warm meal, or just be around people for a little while, come in. No occasion required. The good booth is saved for you.
To everyone out there cleaning up, checking on neighbors, and holding it together today, we see you. The South Suburbs takes care of its own, and we are right here with you.
