🍺🐝 Gandy Dancer Honey Rye Ale 🍺🐝

We re-released this iconic “Great Eight” beer last week, but we think it deserves a bigger spotlight.

Named in tribute of the railroad workers who built and maintained the train rails we still ride today, this 6.1% ABV honey ale was brewed with 60lbs of honey and spicy rye malt. Its smooth and balanced character has notes of fresh-baked bread, subtle peppery spice and a delicate floral sweetness, making it crisp, approachable and endlessly drinkable!

We also want to recognize these amazing cans. We used original bumble bee art from Lucy Cameron, and we’re so excited with how it turned out!

Anyone else need the weekend to recover from our birthday bash?🙋‍♂️

What an amazing party! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate, we felt all the love.

A special thank you to our State Representative Will Davis, Flossmoor Mayor Michell Nelson and Flossmoor Trustee Jim Mitros for all the kind words.

And shout out to our band, Extra, Extra! They put on an awesome show!

Hey Flossmoor Station Fam… 👋

Before we tap the beers and start the party tonight, we want to say THANK YOU! Your patronage over the past 30 years is why we’re still here today. We’ve loved to be host to your birthdays, showers, rehearsal dinners and other celebrations just as much as we’ve loved to have you sit with us in the Pub on a random Tuesday.

We are so grateful to the Flossmoor and surrounding communities - as well as our craft beer friends - for embracing us all these years, and the party tonight is for YOU! We hope to see all of your familiar faces out in the Craft Beer Garden tonight, beginning at 4pm. 🍻♥️
