💔 With a Heavy Heart…

As this week began, I had such a wonderful conversation with my dad. He was so excited to come into town for the Peanut Festival. We talked about the weekend and made plans, never imagining how quickly everything could change.

Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. I had to say goodbye to my dad, the best father I could have ever asked for. My heart is completely broken, and I still can’t find the words to describe this loss.

Dipped Treats will be closed today as we take time to make the necessary arrangements and be together as a family.

My boys will be at the shop this weekend to help keep things running, just as my dad and I had planned. I know he would want us to carry on, and having my boys there makes it even more meaningful.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love, understanding, thoughts, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
