At reef, our goal has never been to simply open another seafood restaurant. We wanted to create something different something Northern Kentucky could truly call its own.

🐟 THE REEF DIFFERENCE — WATER TO TABLE FRESHNESS

Our fresh, never-frozen fish is ordered 6 days a week and delivered overnight so we can offer an incredible level of freshness. We don’t want fish sitting around waiting for you, we want it traveling from the water to our kitchen and onto your plate as quickly as possible.

That commitment to freshness, quality, and attention to detail is what reef is all about & what our customers, friends & family deserve.

From our house-made, from-scratch famous lump crab cakes, legendary lobster & crab rolls, homemade creamy lobster bisque, chunky New England clam chowder, premium sushi-grade fish selections, fresh and healthy beautiful poke bowls, fresh house shucked oysters, seafood favorites and so much more… we can’t wait for you to experience what we’ve been working toward.

And for our friends who prefer their delicacies from beyond the water — don’t worry! 😉 We’ll have a number of delicious non-seafood options as well include beef filet mignon, poultry, pasta, etc.

🍺🍷 BEER & WINE ARE OFFICIAL!

Our liquor license is complete, and reef will be serving beer and wine, including selections that pair beautifully with many of our seafood dishes. Whether it’s a cold beer with a lobster roll, or freshly shucked oysters, or a glass of wine alongside one of our premium fish selections, such as top shelf chilean  Seabass, Scottish or Ora King salmon, mahi-mahi, blue fin tuna, grouper swordfish, shrimp scallops etc. etc. we’ve got you covered.

🛍️ DINE IN OR TAKE REEF HOME

By opening, we’ll also be updating reefnky.com to make things even easier.

You’ll be able to place same-day pickup orders online, as well as order our premium fresh seafood by the pound for next-day pickup when your order is placed before 7:00 PM. We’re always happy to cut your fish into your desired portions, skin on or removed, packed on ice for you to take home and enjoy right away or put into the freezer to enjoy later. Please remember that we’re closed Sundays, so if ordered on Saturday, it will be delivered and ready for pickup on the following Monday.

Please remember that reef is NOT a fast-food restaurant.

Everything we do revolves around fresh ingredients, quality, preparation and attention to detail. Because of that, and because we anticipate an incredible turnout, especially during our first few weeks, there may be times when waits are longer than any of us would like.

We promise our team will always work as hard as possible to take care of everyone, but we will never sacrifice the quality of your meal simply to rush it out the door.

We want you to come in, enjoy your meal, enjoy the atmosphere, meet our reef family and experience what we’ve worked so hard to create. ❤️

If dine-in seating or wait times become too long, remember that to-go ordering is always an option! We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as our team settles into our new home and adjusts to the demand.

We have weekly specials, lunch specials, cooking classes, date nights, themed dinner evenings, private parties, special events, limited seafood drops and plenty more planned! We love randomly surprising guests and followers with gift cards, free menu items and other giveaways as our way of saying thank you for supporting our family owned local business.

We’re officially down to those final last-minute touches and have our final walkthroughs scheduled for next week. After all the work, long days, late nights, and countless details that have gone into getting our new home ready, we’re finally getting very close.

🙏 We’re praying everything goes as expected and, if all goes according to plan, we could have an official opening date as early as NEXT WEEK!
