For folks that might want to have some great PIE for Mother's Day, Candi is taking a limited amount of orders thru Friday. She can do almost anything (some of ya'll KNOW that!) and most Pies will run about $22. Let her know.

Okay, I admit, it's weird not being open. We will get over it...

Still, there's some things-

Candi will continue to do her custom baking of Pies and such. Just let us know what she can do for you. She's actually pretty good at it.

The Ambush is available, as always, for private parties, both catered and not. We've always tried to do this, and we try hard to be be reasonable on prices.

And finally, we will PROBABLY do some Special Events from time to time, so folks can get their Catfish fix once in a while. That's if no one buys the place first, of course. This just makes sense, to keep the equipment up an running. Some.

Well, thanks to everyone who supported us for ten years and nine months (to the day). It was a run.

Now. The best thing that can happen is for someone to step up, buy the place, and keep our good traditions alive, PLUS add their own perks. That would be so cool, for everyone. So I want to ask a favor-

We've had all these great testimonials lately. And I would like to ask for more, right here. Call it a "resume" for potential buyers. I mean, negative is allowed too, because I believe in transparency. It's all good- give me something to show potential buyers. How's that for unique? So, fire away, and THANKS!

Okay, here we go. One last time.

We start our last night at the Ambush at THREE O'CLOCK (3 PM) to try to spread things out, and out of respect for our more MATURE customers, so they can get back home at a decent hour.

Tonight's Specials, although maybe not all inclusive, will be-

All You Can Eat Catfish
Boneless Wings
BBQ Chicken Nachos
Hillbilly Seafood Basket w/Crawfish Pie (freakin' YUM!), and
Hand Breaded Shrimp

We'll also do the regular menu for the Burger and Tenderloins folks.
And of course, Candi is making Pies, even today.

A few thangs...

The first one- we will be open Wednesday, December 31st, 2025 (it's all in the details) for our last night ever.

We'll open at 3 PM, to help spread things out some, and to get some of our older, and wiser, folks home early. And we'll serve food until we are DONE.

Our Specials will include, but not be limited to, Boneless Chicken Wings, BBQ Chicken Nachos, and All You Can Eat Catfish (sur-PRIZE!).

There will probably be a fair amount of our Custom, in-house and homemade DESSERTS (no surprise).

And afterwards, if folks want to hang out, we'll have some fun stuff. People are bringing games (Dominos seem to go well). There are some of us who will probably play nickel-ante Poker. Whatever. I'm not a stay up 'til midnight on New Year's Eve kind of guy, but this time is different.

Some folks haven't got the news. We are done- this will be our last Sunday, and we'll finish up on New Year's Eve. Peace...

Anyway, extended hours TODAY. We'll open at 11 with our Fried Chicken and Tenderloin Dinners, then we'll switch to Grilled Shrimp at 2. Of course, if we still have Chicken then we'll run 'er out.

This will give us a chance to spread the day out some. Plus, there's folks have said they can't make it out on Sundays 'cuz we close too early. Not this time.

There will also be homemade Desserts. Of course there will. See ya.

Okay, so Ameren killed out last Saturday ever. We will NOT do a make-up night. Sorry.

So here's what's in store for tomorrow. First off, we'll be open from 11 AM until 6 PM. Yep, extended hours. We'll do our Fried Chicken and our Tenderloin Dinners (plus the regular menu) until 2 PM, then we'll switch to Grilled Shrimp. That ought to work.

Hopefully, maybe, some folks who can never make it out on Sundays will have one last chance. Maybe?

Of course we now have a surplus of Desserts too- so come HUNGRY. Please pass this on- peace out ya'll.

As of 4:02 PM we are once again, for the UMPTEENTH time, without power. Thanks again to Ameren UE. I don't know what to say or do,-their website says "undetermined" and "undetermined". How many times this has happened, and the CoMO customers ACROSS THE ROAD still have power.

I'd say if you want to call ahead and check, maybe that's best. If we have no phone, you'll know.
