We wanted to start of our ‘Employee of the Month’ series strong with a celebration of and farewell to our dear Madi🥲🫶 We’re so proud of her and so excited to see her become Dr. Shaw!!! 👩⚕️
Here’s what Madi had to say about her time at Jefe:
“My favorite part of working at Jefe has always been the people and the atmosphere. Over the past 7 years, I’ve gotten to know so many of our regulars, heard about their lives, watched their families grow, and built real, lifelong friendships along the way. I even met my husband, Justin, working here. To say this place has been an impactful part of my life is an understatement. My favorite memories have come from behind that bar.
As a mental health therapist, the job can be a little isolating, so I’ve been so thankful to have Jefe to make new friends. As a doctoral candidate, my life has been busy and stressful, but the people I’ve met at Jefe over the years have been my biggest and loudest cheerleaders. Now, as I finish up my doctorate in health psychology, I’ll carry so many of those lessons and friendships with me into the next chapter. Jefe will always hold a special place in my heart. 💖”
