Featuring seven exceptional expressions from Milam & Greene Wh***ey and B.R. Distilling Company's Blue Note Bourbon, this guided tasting goes beyond simply sampling great wh***ey. Together, we'll discover what legally defines bourbon and rye, explore the impact of barrel selection and finishing, and experience firsthand how geography influences maturation. The evening's centerpiece is The Answer from Milam & Greene—a one-of-a-kind side-by-side tasting of two bourbons distilled from the exact same mash bill, aged for the same length of time, but matured in two very different climates: Kentucky and Texas. By tasting them side by side, you'll experience just how dramatically climate can shape a wh***ey's color, aroma, proof, and flavor.
