RIP Eric Mays
People have a lot to say about Eric Mays. Maybe that stuff can take a rest for a little while .
Here’s the Eric Mays we remember -
During the water crisis , City Hall was overwhelmed , and even told people , don’t call City hall . The city Councilman for our ward never returned a call . Eric Mays wasn’t the council person for our ward - But Eric Mays ALWAYS answered his phone , made calls on behalf of our Business and put us in contact with the right people to help us with Local and state grants to help. ( Not Covid , the Flint Water Crisis ) . Eric Mays may have been as outspoken as anyone you have ever known , But Eric Mays worked for the Residents of Flint!!
We were open 24 Hrs , one night a group from out of town was in late into the night to eat , they had a rental van and had car trouble ( wouldn’t start ) they had to catch a flight out of Detroit . Eric was in the restaurant at the same time . He got in touch with a local Church ( in the middle of the night ) . Eric , and the pastor drove this Group
to Detroit Metro Airport in the Church van to catch their flight .

It’s with a very Heavy heart ❤️ that we regretfully announce the passing of David early this morning. He touched so many peoples lives , but none more than his Loving family . There was nothing more important to David than his family. May God Bless you David ❤️ you will be missed by many. From Atlas to the Ritz , If you ever met David . You were a friend for Life.
