Baby balls will be enjoyed as a sampling at a holiday party.

First of the Thanksgiving orders were dipped this morning and are ready for pick up.
Lots more being done as the week goes on.
It’s not too late to order some for your Thanksgiving spread, charcuterie board, or late night craving.
These keep in the fridge for 2 weeks and freeze well for several months. Keep them on hand for when you need a quick pick me up.

Shipping got delayed while waiting on products I needed. I am doing my trial shipping tomorrow to see how these suckers hold up in the mail. Should know by mid week if we are good to go for shipping, and if so, it will be just in time for all your holiday gatherings. 🦃 🎄 🎉

Meanwhile, just in case the outside chocolate coating doesn’t hold up, I spent today trying a new coating. Instead of melted chocolate, I prepared these the way that many others do, knowing this way should be no problem to ship.

I ate two, and then one more, just to be sure of my analysis.

My analysis is this…

Pros:
-Still delicious
-Still has the chocolatey taste
- Seems like the bourbon flavor shines through more because of the less dominant chocolate flavor.

Cons:
-Not covered in melted chocolate
-Not as pretty

I could see how some people (bourbon lovers) might actually prefer this coating over the melted chocolate.

There seems be more than just one way to like your balls. 💁‍♀️

📣 After much interest, I am going to do a trial run on shipping later this week to see how my balls hold up in the mail. Fingers crossed that my balls arrive in tact and delicious!!

Here is what I am currently working on…
Balls, Balls, and more Balls. I had a special order for non alcoholic balls, so I have some of those available as well for anyone who might be interested.
Also, check out these pumpkin cookies with a maple bourbon and cinnamon buttercream icing. Icing made with Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream. Available by half dozen or full dozen.
