Ok...This is tough for me to post, but in talking with my wife, I have decided to give up on the food truck. It's not the food that is the problem. It's not the business. It's the truck. The truck has been a thorn in my side ever since we got it. The kitchen is great. The mechanical parts of the diesel truck are the main issue. Makes sense then to pivot to a stationary spot. Taco Revolution LLC isn't going away. We're just pivoting to another business concept. We're looking for a farmers' market with a space open to make our concept a reality. We're going to start locally first, already submitting a proposal to Renninger's Farmer's Market, since they have a few spaces open.
But, we need to figure out how we're going to sell the truck first. That will be a process in itself. We may save some equipment from it for the stand. No clue what we can save. I'm assuming that propane fueled appliances may have to stay, but we'll figure that out as we go.
At this point, we're not taking anymore events. We are, however, doing catering. We can still use the truck stationary, so catering is possible. So, if you're interested in bringing the revolution to your business, home or event, let us know and we'll figure something out for ya.
This might be the end of the truck, but it's a beginning for another chapter in Taco Revolution's existence.

So...I posted a teaser a few days ago about some big news. Well, here's the news:

You'll have at least SEVEN chances to get out to see us through the end of October! The truck is in working order, it's inspected for another year, and we are ready to go out and sling some tacos! Here's the schedule:

(Note that Macungie and Kutztown are reoccurring events and could happen past October if the demand is there. So, show up and buy tacos and food from other vendors. That way, the demand will be there from both customers and trucks.)

*Leesport Fall Market Festival, Leesport Farmers' Market - Saturday, October 14th from 10am-6pm

Stay tuned. We'll be giving our fans quite a few chances in the next two months to get a taste of our handmade tacos. We're especially excited to be slinging tacos up in the Lehigh Valley a few times.

It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, we have some good news. We're getting our exhaust fan fixed on Tuesday, so we'll be able to get back out and start selling again. I really am very sorry that we weren't able to get out to any of our scheduled events through August, but September and October will be full of chances to get your hands and tummies on some amazing tacos, fresh salsas, handmade chips and more.

Very unfortunately, one of our two generators died and we can't run the truck on one. So, we have to pull out from Reading Pride Celebration. Sucks...hopefully we'll be back up and running for next weekend's events.

Hey, Lehigh Valley! Want a taste of the Revolution in tacos? Well, we're working on getting a few dates in the area, including the food truck Saturdays at Lehigh Valley Mall and in Macungie at Memorial Park.

Would you like some good news from us? Well today is your lucky day!

We're finally picking up our truck on Wednesday after an expensive fix. So, we'll be back serving you all at Reading pride on Sunday July 16th and the Muhlenberg Summer Concert series on Friday July 21st, both at Jim Dietrich Park in Muhlenberg Township. Heck...We may even have a catering job on Saturday.

We're very happy to be back on the road, serving wonderful food to our fans and spreading the love throughout the area. We miss all of you and hope to see you at an event soon!
