Spring has arrived in Flat Rock, and it’s shaping up to be a beautiful weekend. The Hubba Hubba patio will be the place to be, with the smell of wood-fired BBQ drifting across Little Rainbow Row.

Join us for a relaxed afternoon and come hungry for wood-fired chicken, pulled pork sandwiches piled high, and all your favorite sides - including the mac and cheese. We’re open Friday through Sunday, 11 AM to 3 PM.

As we prepare to close this chapter, we invite you to join us one more time.

Hubbaloo’s last day of service will be Saturday, January 17th, and we would love the chance to see you, serve you, and personally say thank you. We’ve made so many great memories in that bright green building on Little Rainbow Row, and your support and encouragement have meant more than you know.

A quick reminder: Hubba Hubba Smokehouse will honor all outstanding Hubbaloo gift cards.

Hubbaloo Closing Announcement

After careful consideration of multiple paths forward, we have made the difficult choice to close Hubbaloo Restaurant. Our final day of service will be Saturday, January 17th.

This choice was not made lightly. Our long-term commitment to this property and to our beloved Flat Rock community remains strong, and we believe this course of action reflects thoughtful stewardship - not retreat. Most importantly, the closure of Hubbaloo does not diminish our belief in the future of this place or the people who make it special.

Going forward, the Hubbaloo space will continue to be actively used in ways that keep it vibrant and productive. It will support catering and private events for the other restaurants on the property, and we anticipate offering off-season, to-go selections from Hubba Hubba. This adaptive use allows the space to remain relevant and supportive of the broader ecosystem at Rainbow Row, ensuring it continues to serve both our guests and our community.

Bottom line: we may be down, but we are not out.

We are also deeply committed to our team members during this transition. Where possible, staff will be offered opportunities within other restaurants on the property, or we will assist with their next steps.

For our guests who have supported Hubbaloo with gift cards, please know that Hubba Hubba Smokehouse will honor all outstanding Hubbaloo gift cards.
