Don’t have one yet? September is the perfect time to sign up! The Library is offering special rewards and surprises at participating local businesses all month long.

Evans is currently accepting resumes from experienced cooks interested in joining our kitchen team.

We’re looking for someone with:

• At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Commercial fryer experience
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• The ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain quality during busy service

Primary shift: Wednesday-Sunday 8 PM–4 AM

A little menu update from the chippy!

We’ve made the decision to discontinue our gluten-free and grilled fish options.

With a small kitchen, simplifying our menu helps us keep service running smoothly and focus on what we do best: traditional fish & chips.

For our gluten-free guests, our kitchen uses shared fryers and equipment and handles flour throughout the space. Because we can’t guarantee against cross-contamination, we feel it’s better to be upfront than offer something we can’t confidently call gluten-free.

We’re also adjusting our hours!
Starting 8/21 our new hours will be:

Monday–Thursday: 1 PM–12 AM
Friday–Saturday: 12 PM–3 AM
Sunday: 12 PM–12 AM

We appreciate your understanding as we make these changes and look forward to seeing you at the chippy!
