As I sit and reflect on the days ahead and everything May holds, I can already "feel" it, this is one of my busiest seasons.
Being a florist is like living in a constant state of preparation for moments that never stop coming.
There are so many unseen hours - ordering flowers, picking them up, conditioning every stem, prepping endless vases, keeping the coolers stocked, and trying to stay one step ahead of the next holiday or event. And even with all that preparation, when the deadlines arrive, you’re often still racing to meet them. You don’t ever really “finish” your work—you simply arrive at the next order/request.
Every arrangement carries a piece of you! Your creativity, your eye, your care...poured into something that will be enjoyed for a moment, and then fade. And you know that going in.
People come to you in moments that matter (celebrations, grief, love, apology) and they need something meaningful. Something beautiful.
And you give it. Over and over.
It’s a life of pouring out, time, energy, and heart, often without a pause.
So you learn to keep creating when you’re tired,
to meet deadlines that don’t slow down,
and to give beauty away even on the days your own cup feels a little low.
But even in that, I hold onto this: God sees every unseen hour and every quiet act of service. He is faithful to refill what I pour out, and in His hands, nothing given in love is ever wasted. That truth is why 1 Corinthians 15:58 became part of our logo.
And truly 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪. I’m so grateful to be trusted with them.
Like anyone, I have busy days and quieter days, and sometimes my mind is simply moving a little faster behind the scenes, but please know how much I value each of you and the opportunity to serve you well.
God continues to be my source - faithfully refilling what I pour out and giving me joy in the work!
