Larry had a way of leaving a strong impression on all who ever met him. My Siblings and I are planning a Celebration of Larry's Life on his Birthday April 28th from 4pm to 8pm at the Ferndale Pavilion and Community center located at Pioneer Park. Please RSVP if you would like to attend. All are welcome. 🙏

Job Type: Barista
Pay: $15 per hour
Schedule: Holidays, Weekdays and Weekends
Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location:
Mount's Espresso is a busy family friendly drive-thru espresso stand in Ferndale looking for a friendly, energetic, reliable Barista who enjoys providing fantastic customer service and making fantastic coffee!

Current positions are full time, including weekends, weekdays, holidays and early morning shifts. Must be available and willing to work Weekday, Weekend, and Holiday shifts as scheduled. We do not guarantee holidays or weekends off.

The successful candidates will be responsible for: Preparing the stand for opening and closing;
Greeting customers happily at our drive-thru;
Taking and preparing beverage orders;
Providing customers with price information and taking payments;
Ensuring cleanliness of themselves and all work areas at all times;
Making sure that coffee brewing equipment is cleaned, sanitized and maintained;
Ensuring all food and beverage products are stored in a safe manner.

Required skills and experience:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Awesome customer service is a must!!
Experience working as a Barista in either a coffee shop or stand (1 year of experience is preferred);
Familiarity with espresso and beverage products and common drink recipes;
Knowledge of food and beverage safety rules and practices;
Organized, punctual and innovative ~ Must be reliable and on time please;
Cash register and cash management skills;
Valid Washington State Food Handler's Permit.
