Poppa Joe’s Closing Announcement
With gratitude and heavy hearts, we share that Poppa Joe’s will close on January 4, 2026.
Opened in 2000 and named after founder Joe Alexander, Poppa Joe’s quickly became more than a restaurant. It was a local gathering place — where neighbors met for morning coffee, played cards in the back, shook dice, shared stories, and enjoyed the generous portions that made it a Ferndale favorite.
Thank you to everyone who supported Poppa Joe’s for nearly 26 years. Your conversations, traditions, and loyalty are what made this place special. We hope you’ll stop by in the coming weeks to enjoy a meal, say hello, and share in the memories.
Poppa Joe’s will always be a cherished part of Ferndale’s story — and we are grateful to have been part of yours.
