The new year is a good time to reintroduce ourselves. Hi, we’re the Purple Door Tearoom! Many people aren’t sure what to expect so here is a quick description.

A more traditional “tea” is unlike your normal meal at other restaurants in terms of portion size. Our “tea” service includes smaller bites that lean on flavor and combinations you may not normally try. The purpose of a tea isn’t to necessarily leave feeling stuffed. However many people do ask if they can take a food nap before leaving!

The real stars of a tea are you, the company you are with, the conversations you have and the ambiance. It should be a bit of respite from whatever you have going on in the real world for an hour or two. We pride ourselves on the food that our chef and baker prepares, so we hope you take a more leisurely approach to every bite. Thank you from the Purple Door!

We are also announcing that starting now, The Purple Door will be changing its hours on Sundays and Sundays only, to 12pm-5pm. All other daily hours will remain the same. Any Sunday 11am reservations already in the calendar will be honored. Thanks!
