Dream Cruise brunch in Ferndale, at Mezcal on Nine Mile where the whole route starts.

We open at nine, same hour the first engines come down Woodward. Chilaquiles in red or green. Omelets folded to order. Buttermilk pancakes for the table that cannot agree on anything. Huevos con chorizo, rancheros, a la Mexicana. Real breakfast, made the way our family has always made it, and enough of it to carry you through a full day of chrome and sunshine.

Eat first. Then walk out into one of the best mornings that Ferndale gets all year. The curb spots go to whoever finished their coffee first.
