🚨 SEPTEMBER DROP ALERT

We’re celebrating Mexican Independence Day the best way we know how: with big, bold, irresistible flavor! 🇲🇽

Introducing The Southwest Dip, our birria-inspired pie.

We start with a melty cheese base of Mozzarella and Chihuahua cheese, piled high with our house-made, slow-cooked beef birria and fresh red onions. Fresh out of the oven, it’s topped with cilantro, fresh lime wedges, and served with a side of rich, warm consommé for dipping or drizzling.

As always, this drop gives back to the community we love! This month, a portion of all proceeds will directly benefit the Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation (DHDC).

Founded in 1997, DHDC is a vital multi-service hub in Southwest Detroit dedicated to empowering youth and families. From robotics, summer camps, and violence prevention to adult education and local entrepreneurship, their work fosters real growth and economic opportunity. We couldn’t be prouder to support their mission!

The order links go live in our bio this Saturday morning! We will keep them open until sold out.

Pickup dates will be September 5th and 6th (please doublecheck that you fill out the correct form for your preferred date).

This month was a BIG one for Fermented & Fired. So many firsts, so many lessons, and more importantly, so much support from our community.

We hosted our first private catering event and pushed ourselves in new ways, continuing to  grow this little pizza project into something that feels much larger. Huge shout out to Base for giving us the opportunity!

And because this community continues to show up for us, we’re excited to give back. This month, we’ll be making a donation to the Ruth Ellis Center, supporting their work with LGBTQ+ youth and young adults.

Every order, every share, every kind word, and every person who has pulled up for a pie has helped make this possible.

We genuinely couldn’t do this without you. What started as a little pizza passion project keeps becoming something we’re incredibly proud to be a part of.
