Common Ground Hospitality Sells Just Hooked Property to Fins Hospitality Group
Ocean City, MD- February 21, 2023 - Common Ground Hospitality, a well-known restaurant group with multiple locations in Maryland & Delaware, has announced the sale of their Just Hooked property in Fenwick Island to Fins Hospitality Group. Just Hooked will officially close its doors on Sunday February 26th, 2023. The Just Hooked restaurant, located at 1500 Coastal Hwy in Fenwick, has been a popular dining destination in the area for 11 years.
“The opportunity to sell could not have come at a better time,” said Steve Hagen, owner of Common Ground Hospitality. “It’s always important to diversify and grow our brand. We have new concepts in the works that we have been looking forward to bringing to Delmarva for a long time, this deal gives us the leverage to refocus our efforts.”

Fins Hospitality Group is equally excited about adding a new property to their growing portfolio of restaurants on the Eastern Shore. "We are thrilled to be expanding our presence in the area," said Jeff Hamer, owner of Fins Hospitality Group. "We are excited to continue the great work that Steve & his team have done at this location and look forward to offering our own unique take on dining to the community."

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY❕

As a summer intern with Common Ground Hospitality you will be a key member of one of our management teams in one of our five restaurants located in southern Delaware or Ocean City, Maryland. This role will have you shadow one of our mentor managers to start your internship. You will learn the day to day operations, routines, systems, tools and the management of our team members while providing a great guest experience. After your shadowing of one of our mentors you will become a summer shift supervisor taking on the role of a manager for your designated restaurant. During this time you will be given tasks to complete with your mentor manager such as, building team member schedules, staff management, business forecasting, ordering and inventory. This is a minimum of an 8 week program that can extend to 10 weeks.
