Monday is my 44th birthday and as most of you know I usually take a week long solo vacation. Well, not this year 😀 I'm in route to East Moline, IL for a concert tonight then coming right back home early morning. Jessica will be at the Affton shop bright and early tomorrow so I can get a little nap in, and I should be in between 9:30-10am. Mom will be at the Fenton location all weekend.

In honor of my birthday, all XL drinks are $1 off this weekend at both locations!

Now, I normally come up with some cute and catchy name for the drink, but this time I'd rather us all sit back and remember why most of us have a 3 day weekend and are out "celebrating the holiday". First and foremost, Thank you for allowing me to take some time off for a few days. Im In Indianapolis taking a pit stop from the massive storms, still heading home.

As most of you close to me know, I work a full time second job. With full transparency, because I always am with you guys, I haven't been able to write myself a paycheck from the shops for 2 years now. That's okay because I'm growing and doing great things with the business. However, I am personally getting far behind on my mortgage and car and need to work more hours a week at the 2nd (and sometimes 3rd) job.

Tuesday the 19th will be the last Tuesday the Affton location is open for a month or two. Please make sure you go visit mom tomorrow!!! Tuesday's have been the slowest producing days in Affton for 3 years straight. I'm going to take a month or two to work the other jobs even more to catch up on my own bills. I plan to be here for the long run, so I need to make sure my bills are taken care of as quickly as possible.

New weekly special!

It's that time again!
Janel and I will take off Wednesday night for our yearly celebration of our birthdays and will be gone for 5 days! Instead of a total shut down this year, we will only be closed 1 day at each shop.
When I get back, there will be a few changes. Temporary hour changes and a whole new tea line! I'll update ya all on those two things soon as all the logistics are worked out.
