Today is World Marrow Donor Day. To the young man who donated, Thank you once again for Jon Franklin receiving a Transplant! We will always be grateful! When Jon first got released from the hospital he would have to go back everyday to have all his levels checked. Several times he had to receive Magnesium, Fluids, Plasma etc. He now goes twice a week. Today everything was great & he did not have to have anything! Thank you for all the prayers & keep them going! This is proof that our God above hears our Prayers!❤️❤️❤️

I’ve kept my mouth shut, but here goes! Jon Franklin got to go home today! His numbers have been improving everyday! We didn’t announce anything because we didn’t want to ginx it!!! Please continue to keep him in your prayers. He still has a long road ahead of him, but at least he is at home! Thank you all once again for all your prayers & please keep praying for good numbers! I truly believe that he has done so well because of you guys praying!🙏 ❤️❤️🙏🙏❤️

Update on Jon: I always try to update when there have been some changes. For the last few days, the Chemo that Jon has taken is working on him hard. Please continue with your prayers. He needs some relief from the side effects of Chemo! For the last couple of days they had to give him Platelets, but this morning his numbers were good, so no Platelets today! We are so proud of Jon Franklin & he will get through this! Thank you again for all your Prayers! ❤️❤️❤️

We decided to go ahead and do an update on Jon. He has finished his Chemotherapy & started his Anti-rejection IV. The way we understand it, he will stay on the IV until he goes home & then he will switch to a pill. He has more good days than bad. Thank you everyone for your continued prayers! He still has a long road ahead, but he has a great attitude & God will see him through this! Love to all of you & thank you again!

I told everyone I would keep you posted on Jon. Wednesday: Transplant took place & all went well! Thursday: He was bad sick at his stomach, but they got his meds adjusted & we were able to talk to him last night. Today: Jon called & he sounds so strong! He has been eating good all day with no stomach issues! They are going to start Chemotherapy again tomorrow! Please continue to keep Jon in your prayers! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your prayers! I will keep you posted as things progress.

Thank for all your Prayers for Jon! He just finished receiving his new Stem Cells. He called us to let us know that he is feeling good. We now have to Pray that his body accepts the cells & that they multiply. He will start chemotherapy again in the morning. It will depend on how his numbers do as to how long he will have to stay in the hospital. Can be anywhere from 2-3 weeks. We also want to pray for the young man who took time out of his life to save our Son! All we know is that he was a 100% match & he is 20 years old from the USA! Thank you young man!

Day 1 of the next journey-Jon Franklin

Today I went and signed all paperwork and had my central line placed. Tomorrow I will be receiving a test dose of chemo. I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support for the last 3 months. And I ask that you continue to pray for the next 3 months. I will have a long recovery ahead of me after the 12 of August.
