We are hiring! Poverty Bay Cafe is looking to fill a full time barista position, and we would love to see your resume. Weekend availability is required, and we are looking for someone with previous barista experience. Our hours of operation are 7am-3pm, 7 days a week. This position will require you to take orders, run food, make espresso beverages on a manual machine, make blended drinks, heat up pastries, do general housekeeping (sweep/mop, clean tables/glass, dishes) of the café, and assist our guests with any request that we may be able to fill.
We strive for fresh, locally sourced products, made-from-scratch recipes, and sustainable, direct trade, shade-grown coffee. Poverty Bay Cafe is owned by FUSION Housing, so every day we are supporting housing families experiencing homelessness. We provide great coffee and food, amazing service, and hope for families in our community. Join our team today!

The Taste of Federal Way is back! Get your tickets today at Poverty Bay Cafe & Bakery and get a taste of Federal Way restaurants while supporting local non-profits. Each restaurant at The Taste partners with a non-profit of their choosing, and proceeds from the event go towards supporting the various missions. Thank you to everyone who made our There's No Place Like Home gala such a success!

Together, we raised over $763,000 for FUSION and the families we serve, this wouldn't be possible without your generosity and support. We're so grateful to have you all in our community, and if you weren't able to join us this year, you were missed. We can't wait to see you all next year!

In the meantime, join us for our Gala Wrap Party on Wednesday, August 19th! Open to everyone — come celebrate another successful event, and if you're interested in volunteering, this is a great chance to learn more.
