Dearest Prik Thai Cuisine Family,
We recently learned about North Carolina’s Connor Act, which requires certain lease renewal rights to be officially recorded in order to remain valid for a new property owner. Unfortunately, because our renewal wasn’t recorded, the new owner is not required to honor or extend our lease.
The former owner was not required by law to notify us before selling the property, leaving us with no option to remain.
After the fire on April 24, we poured our hearts into working with insurance and planning repairs, but delays prevented us from reopening before the property changed ownership.
💔 With deep sadness, we must share that Prik Thai Cuisine will be closing permanently at this location.
Since opening our doors in September 2013, we’ve been truly honored to serve you for more than 12 years. Your kindness, loyalty, and support have meant the world to us. Every meal enjoyed, every celebration hosted, and every friendship formed will always be a cherished part of our story.
Please continue to follow us here—we will share any updates about our future plans.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Prik Thai Cuisine Family
