I woke up later than usual and sore all over this morning after CPT Neshia hit me with the one two for the first time yesterday😩 however, I wanted to keep the movement momentum and soak up the perfect weather early in the day, so I got a lil over 2.5 miles in at the park, instead of her suggestion of the 8am Abs and Arms class. … coz my lil muscles couldn’t handle it 😜 💚🌱

Taking my uncle to hear live music by was THEE best move for . That bad killt! The singers were flat foot SANGIN and the dj was spinning for his life. When the band opened with this classic EWF, my uncle was enraptured from until the end. I’m so glad he enjoyed himself the way he did. WE NATIVE CHICAGOANS DONT PLAY BOUT OUR MUSIC! 💚🌱

OH MY STARZ! I didn’t plan on attending nobody’s nothing after having to actually work on the holiday. But at the last minute I popped by LIVE . Called and she was like gurl come to the Shipyard, I got tickets. (How did we forget to take a pic together?!) As serendipity would have it, ran into one of my Sisterhood/ Chicago peeps, Chaundra.

SOOO GLAD I WENT. This was the best one yet. yall did that ! The dj wa so on point! Vendors , location and the final act on the main stage was SO GOOD ! 💚🌱
