Another sweet family member was laid to rest. Ixode was one of the most loving dogs I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She loved us and the rest of her pack beyond measure. She was always found cuddling someone, or at least had her paw on them somewhere. She loved her sister, Inka, more than I've ever witnessed a dog love another. I hugged that sweet girl until all of her warmth melted into mine. I won't waste it. I'll spread her love like wildfire.

The grief in losing 3 dogs in 9 months is excruciating, but I'll transform that grief into something beautiful one day.
