Coffee houses around the world have always served as a safe space for people to engage in creative thinking, debate/ discussion, social rebellion, government dissension, and sharing of radical ideas. They are community hubs to get news, gain knowledge, and become involved.
Since the 17th Century, they’ve survived various government and religious institutions attempting to ban, censor, or close them. These attempts often had the opposite effect and changed how we view and consume coffee. So go support your local coffee shop, take part in discussion, engage your community, caffeinate, and keep making history!
