We are incredibly honored and grateful to share that Happy Cup has been recognized as a 2026 Best of North Carolina Winner in the Bubble Tea Shops category by Guide to North Carolina! 🏆🧋

What makes this recognition so special is that it wasn't something we paid to receive. Over the years, we've received emails and letters saying Happy Cup had "won" various awards, but many of those required businesses to purchase plaques or expensive promotional packages. We've always been hesitant because those recognitions didn't feel as meaningful.

This recognition is different.

The Guide to North Carolina Best of North Carolina awards are based on public nominations and reader voting, with the publication reviewing and verifying the winners before they are announced. To our surprise, Happy Cup was recognized as one of only two Bubble Tea Shops in North Carolina selected as 2026 Best of North Carolina Winners.

We honestly don't know who nominated or voted for us, but if you were one of them, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support, encouragement, and loyalty have made this possible.

When we opened Happy Cup, our goal wasn't just to serve drinks—it was to create a welcoming place where people could relax, connect, and make happy memories. Receiving this recognition reminds us that all the hard work has been worth it.
