Sometimes the most valuable thing a customer can give a small business isn’t a compliment—it’s honest feedback.

We had a situation this weekend where we missed the mark, and this video is our response.

To Charlie: thank you for speaking up.

To everyone who stepped up to defend our family, our team, and Montana Coffee Company: thank you. It meant more than you know.

We’re proud of the coffee we serve, proud of the people behind the counter, and committed to getting better every single day.

Small-town businesses aren’t perfect. But the good ones listen.

Some days become history.
Others become a part of who we are.

September 11, 2001 was one of those days.

We remember the ordinary people who went to work that morning and never came home. The phone calls that were never answered. The empty chairs at dinner tables. The children who grew up without a parent. The husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, friends, and loved ones whose absence is still felt more than two decades later.

We remember the first responders who ran toward danger when every instinct told others to run away. We remember the bravery, the sacrifice, and the countless acts of humanity that emerged from unimaginable heartbreak.

And we remember what happened afterward.

For a moment, we weren’t divided by where we came from, what we believed, or the things we disagreed about.

We were simply Americans.

We stood together. We prayed together. We cried together. We carried strangers. We flew our flag with pride, and we reminded one another that even on our darkest day, hate could not destroy who we were.

Today, Montana Coffee Company remembers the 2,977 lives taken on September 11, 2001, the heroes who gave everything trying to save others, and the families who have carried their loss every day since.

May we never become so far removed from that day that we forget the lives behind the number.

We remember their names.
We remember their sacrifice.
We remember the way our country came together.

🇺🇸 Never Forget 🇺🇸

This Saturday, September 5th, we’re celebrating 3 years of Montana Coffee Company.

It’s our 2nd Annual Employee Day. ❤️☕

For the entire day, 10% of MCC’s gross sales will be shared directly with our employees.

That means every coffee, breakfast, lunch, and order you make on Saturday helps make the day a little bigger for the people who help keep MCC running every day.

The more people who come out to support us, the more our team makes.

Our employees have played a huge part in getting MCC to where it is today, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate three years than by sharing this milestone with them.

So come grab your favorite coffee, bring a friend, get some breakfast or lunch, and help us make Employee Day one to remember.

📅 Saturday, September 5th
☕ 10% of gross sales goes back to our team

Thank you for three incredible years of supporting Montana Coffee Company — now help us show some love to the team behind it. ❤️
