Some disappointments are harder to put into words.
I recently had to make the difficult decision to cancel an experience I had poured so much of myself into.
I had imagined the room, the conversations, the laughter, the moments of reflection, and the connections that might be made.
And I was proud of what I was creating.
But sometimes, even when you give something your very best, it doesn't unfold the way you envisioned.
I won't pretend that it didn't hurt. It did.
I'm learning that perseverance isn't always about being strong. Sometimes it's about allowing yourself to be disappointed without allowing that disappointment to make the next decision for you.
So I'm choosing to continue.
I'm choosing to learn, grow, and keep creating spaces where women can gather, exhale, and remember themselves.
Our next gathering is The Art of the Pause, November 8th, in collaboration with Salt Spa Haven.
And I still believe that what we're building matters.
Because every return begins somewhere. πΏ
