The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions and activities. From staffing challenges to food running out! To realizing we don’t have this and we don’t have that, from containers to cleaners, to delivering challenges and all kinds of things! Whew! But we are getting a handle on things and that takes time.
We again want to sincerely thank those of you who have supported us, waited patiently and shared positive feedback on social media. You mean the world to us!
We will continue to improve and our hope is that those who did not have a positive experience will give us another try in the future.
When we undertook this massive effort, we had no way to know how busy or successful we would be. We are still trying to figure that out. There are bumps in the road and will continue to be, but our goal is to know how to handle them better so that our patrons will feel heard and seen.
And then yesterday…. Who would have thought we would have to close for a day so early in the game?! But safety was the main concern.
WE ARE OPEN TODAY AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!

CLOSED! The Chocolate Moose Diner is closed today due to flooding. Milford the Moose says be safe and he will see you soon!! Sorry for any inconvenience.

ATTENTION Due to high flooding The Chocolate Moose Diner will be CLOSED until 3p. We will further assess at that time. The managers and owners are flooded in and not able to get out. Several workers are unable to get out as well.

To the community: you have exceeded our expectations and we sincerely thank you! To say we have had our challenges is an understatement! 😊 We are working hard to figure out all the ins and outs of running the kitchen so food gets out in a timely fashion. We do apologize for the long waits, but today is better!! And most of you have been so patient and kind, it nearly brings us to tears. So many things couldn’t be learned until we were up and going! So we are learning on the fly!
With school starting soon we will be losing some much needed help in the kitchen. If you are interested in applying please come by the Moose Diner and pick up an application. If you know of someone, please send them to us!
