The Green Teahouse THE GREEN TEAHOUSE was inspired by two brothers and a sister's passion for unique and premium teas. In 2009, The Green Teahouse was established.

Since youth they were enamored with their time-honored Chinese tradition of drinking fresh loose tea. Such love fostered their passion and created a renewed respect and appreciation for their culture. Aspiring to share their heritage and rich knowledge of fine tea, while recognizing America's health awareness, they ventured to the Western world. The brothers-sister team ushered in a new tradition while realizing a childhood dream. Today the fruits of their labor can be enjoyed in America and throughout the world; proudly offering only the finest teas worthy of bearing The Green Teahouse name. Taste the difference that extraordinary quality and guaranteed freshness can make in your cup! Share the dream! Share the passion!

Tomorrow would be my mother’s birthday.
I waited my whole life for her hug, and God gave it to me in her final days.

Friend, if you’re carrying hurt toward a parent, don’t wait. 🤍

Who do you need to call today?

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
Ezekiel 36:26 (NIV)

On chilly fall evenings, I love simmering a warm pot of rooibos tea o slow down, relax, and unwind after a long day.

Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and contains beneficial plant antioxidants, along with trace amounts of minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and calcium.

Tonight, I added fresh apple and juicy pumpkin slices for natural sweetness, plant antioxidants, and a little extra autumn nourishment.

In Chinese food therapy, apples are traditionally valued for supporting body fluids and soothing dryness, while pumpkin is believed to support Spleen and Stomach 🍵🍂

My name is Ting 😊I’ve been blending tea for the past 17 years, and some of my blends are inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine and the wellness traditions I grew up with.

💬 Comment “ROOIBOS TEA” and I’ll share a link to some of my personally blended, creamy and soothing rooibos teas—perfect for your cozy fall evenings!
With love ❤️

Hi, I’m Ting! ❤️ I love tea and cooking, and I’m combining my two passions together? ☕️🍳

Inspired by my Chinese cooking traditions, I experimented with salmon and my Apple Pie Chai Tea for the very first time!

The result? A cozy, toasty, fragrant dish with a creamy coconut finish. So delicious! 🍎🐟

Would you ever try cooking with tea? 😊
👇 Comment “Chai Salmon” and I’ll send you the link to the tea and my full recipe!

Growing up in China, I learned that tea is more than a comforting beverage. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), different teas are valued for their unique properties and how they may support our body’s balance throughout the day.

🌿 MORNING | Green Tea or Matcha
Refresh • Awaken • Focus
Naturally rich in antioxidants and caffeine, these teas help promote mental alertness and a refreshing start to your morning. In TCM, green tea is traditionally valued for its cooling and heat-clearing properties.

🍃 LUNCHTIME | Oolong Tea or White Tea
Metabolism • Gentle Energy • Refreshment
Oolong is traditionally enjoyed to support digestive comfort, especially after meals. White tea is valued for its cooling nature. Both contain beneficial polyphenols and can provide a pleasant midday lift.

🫖 AFTER LUNCH OR EARLY DINNER | Black Tea or Pu-erh Tea
Digestive Comfort • Warmth • Balance
In TCM, black tea and ripe Pu-erh are traditionally considered warming and are often enjoyed after rich or heavy meals. Their comforting character makes them lovely companions to digestion. Enjoy earlier in the day if you’re sensitive to caffeine.

🌸 BEDTIME | Caffeine-Free Fruit or Herbal Tea
Relax • Unwind • Rest
As the day comes to an end, a warm cup of caffeine-free fruit or herbal tea creates a peaceful moment to slow down. Herbs such as chamomile have a long tradition of use for relaxation.

😊Friend, which tea do you enjoy most, and what time of day do you drink it? I’d love to hear! ☕️

Ting ❤️

🌿 Sometimes our nervous system needs a little kindness, too. 💕

When life feels overwhelming, I love slowing down and simmering a warm pot of fruit tea.

Today, I’m combining fresh strawberries, pineapple, apple, and lemon balm leaves. 🍓🍍🍎

🌿 Calm & Relaxation — Lemon balm has traditionally been used to promote relaxation, with promising early research on its calming properties.

🍓 Skin Health & Antioxidants — Strawberries, pineapple, and apples contain natural antioxidants. Their vitamin C also supports collagen production, although some is lost during simmering.

💧 Hydration & Comfort — A naturally sweet, water-rich tea that helps you stay hydrated while enjoying a peaceful moment.

When we spend so much time caring for everyone else, we forget to care for ourselves.

Friend, you don’t have to finish everything today.

Sometimes, the kindest thing you can do for your body and mind is simply slow down.
With love ❤️

At 56, I’m still learning, growing, and building my small business.

Life doesn’t have to happen according to someone else’s timeline.
Some times are for growing. Some are for learning. Some are simply for finding the strength to begin again.

And none of those times are necessarily wasted.

My faith reminds me that God can bring restoration even after difficult seasons. (Joel 2:25) 🙏

Friend, please don’t rush through your life trying to catch up with someone else’s.

Your story is still unfolding. Don’t let the fear of tomorrow steal the joy of today. ❤️

What’s one thing you wish you could stop worrying about at this stage of your life?
I’d love to hear your story 😊
With love,
Ting ❤️

After a heavy meal, many Chinese families reach for fermented Pu-erh. It’s a tradition passed down for generations. 🍵
But Pu-erh can taste strong if you’re new to it.

Hi I’m Ting I have been blending Pu-erh tea for the past 17 years.

And I hand-blended this tea with decaf caramel black tea: smooth, warm, and lightly sweet. And I named it “ Caramel Tummy Tonic Pu-erh ” it’s been one of my favorite morning and after meal teas 😊

Comment CARAMEL for the link, or shop Caramel Tummy Tonic Pu-erh tea at : TheGreenTeahouse.com.

🌿 “Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.” — Ezekiel 47:12
What a beautiful reminder of God’s creation!

Today, I’m simmering fresh cantaloupe, pineapple, jujube dates, chrysanthemum, and honeysuckle into a naturally sweet tea.

Sometimes, the simplest things from nature remind us to slow down, nourish ourselves, and be grateful for God’s provision.
With love,
Ting ❤️

TCM Benefits of Each Ingredient 🌿
Cantaloupe 🍈 — Cooling, relieves thirst & clears summer heat.
Jujube Dates ❤️ — Nourishes blood & helps to calm the nerves system

Every morning, my grandma made me a warm bowl of congee☺️

Why I love this breakfast:
🥣 Oats contain beta-glucan, a soluble fiber that helps keep you full and may support healthy cholesterol.
🥚 Egg adds protein to keep your energy steady through the morning.
🥦 Cauliflower adds fiber and volume with very few calories.
🫚 Ginger has been used for centuries to support digestion.
🍵 Fermented Ginger pu-erh: in Traditional Chinese Medicine, ripe pu-erh is considered warming and gentle on the stomach.

In TCM, a warm breakfast is believed to wake up your digestion, and transform foods into energy, especially on cool fall mornings.

Savory oats also mean no added sugar but salt or soy sauce to start your day without sugar spikes.

Would you try oats cooked in tea?
Comment “ Tea “ and I’ll send you the organic ginger pu-erh I used.

We all have things we wish we had done differently.

More time with someone we loved.
More courage to try.
More appreciation for what we had while we still had it.

But here is something I’ve been thinking about:
If we spend too much time regretting yesterday, while overlooking today, we may simply be creating tomorrow’s regrets.

Life is not only made of the big milestones we wait for.
Life is being formed right now—in an ordinary conversation, a meal together, a quiet morning, a phone call, a walk outside, or a few minutes with someone you love.

Someday, some of the ordinary moments you have today may become the memories you wish you could return to.

So notice them.
Treasure the people who are here.
Say what needs to be said.
And don’t wait for life to become perfect before you appreciate it.
This moment is part of your life, too. ❤️

Friend, what is one thing in your life today that you don’t want to take for granted?
Love ❤️
Ting
