Dutch Poffertjes House LLC What is a Poffertje? (POH-fur-ches) Mini dutch pancakes! We serve them with butter and powdered sugar along with several topping choices! What is a POH-fur-ches?.

We make authentic Dutch Poffertjes (POH-fur-ches). It is an authentic dutch mini pancake mainly found in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Holland. It has the flavor of a combined mini pancake & donut and is about the size of a silver dollar. We serve them hot n' freshly made and topped with family secrets sauces such as: a hot chocolate fudge, warm carmel, fresh strawberry or a traditional maple syrup

sauce. They come served with a variety of fresh fruit and glazed with powdered sugar. We also offer Stroopwafels, regular or Gluten-free! Also try one dipped in our hot fudge sauce. New this year! Try our gourmet Dutch Tots with a combination of delicious toppings. See you at the fair!

Well, here we are Summer 2022. The little Dutch Poffertjes House LLC family has had a lot of changes. Brandon now works year round at New Life Academy. Katie has finished School and now has a degree in coaching and helping woman and men struggling with nutrition and their physical, mental health. The wee ones are not so wee anymore. Kerstin is lovely and moving on to middle school. Jason still likes to be center of attention with his humor and is moving on to Second grade. We have a wedding next year, Breanna and Tony Pettis will be married next September 2023. Karla has moved for new adventures to New York. Matt is no longer working contract and has now joined the team which he wanted. Oma also went back to work and has enjoyed working for New Life Academy where Kerstin and Jason are schooled. Oma has also published her first book “Here comes the bus book.” Check out her page for ordering. Opa has also changed jobs and works full time at Berean in Burnsville. So many changes.

With that said we have decided to close the Food trailer. We have had an amazing 8 years of new friendships and adventures. We will continue to stay open at the Rennissance Fair. We hope to see you there. Oma has her cottage license and will continue to take Poffertjes orders through the summer. Mellett -just leave a message for orders anytime, anyday with your favorite sauces.
We thank you all again for your friendships, support and your encouragement. We will certainly miss you all. Come bye and say hi to us at the Minnesota Rennissance Fair.

The Renaissance is in full swing and the Dutch house family has been busy. Our Kitchens are by the juggling school and fairy gardens. We are off to a busy start and our workers are amazing. We just finished week 2.
