MISSING PERSON ALERT:
Navajo Police Department is currently searching for a missing 9-year-old from Navajo, New Mexico
NAVAJO, N.M. – The Navajo Police Department is currently searching for a missing 9-year-old from Navajo, New Mexico. On March 9, 2021 at approximately 5:54 p.m. the Navajo Police Department was alerted that Franchescia Nez did not return home from school. The Window Rock District coordinated search efforts in the vicinity with assistance from the Navajo Pine Fire Department, Navajo EMS, and Navajo Department of Emergency Management.
The search team coordinated a ground search and possible locations she may have gone. Search efforts will continue and the public is encouraged to call the Window Rock District with any tips or information that will assist in this case.
Franchescia Lynn Nez is 9 years old. She was last seen in Navajo, New Mexico going to school. School officials verified she was in attendance at school however she did not return home after. Franchescia is about 4 feet tall, weighs about 60 lbs, has mid-length brown hair. She has brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white/blue hoodie sweater with blue dots, blue jeans, and red shoes.
