A huge congratulations to my friend Jamie Church on the release of her first book, Over a Cup of Coffee!
For those who know Jamie, the title feels so fitting. Jamie has built a career and so many meaningful relationships by bringing people together, listening, encouraging, sharing ideas, and making connections. So much can happen over a simple cup of coffee: a new friendship, an opportunity, a little encouragement, or a conversation that changes the direction of someone’s life. That is Jamie.
I know because she has been such an important part of my own journey. She invited me to become a Chamber member, encouraged me to serve on the Chamber Board, has recognized me with awards that I will always treasure, and gave me the opportunity to be part of the Professional Women’s Summit planning committee—an event she had the vision to create.
One of the things I admire most about Jamie is her ability to see potential in people and then give them a seat at the table. She doesn’t just talk about building community, she does it, one relationship and one conversation at a time.
That’s why Over a Cup of Coffee feels like more than simply the title of Jamie’s first book. It feels like an extension of who she is and the way she has touched so many lives.
Jamie, congratulations on this incredible accomplishment! Thank you for believing in me, for the doors you have opened, and for everything you continue to do for the women, businesses, and people of our community.
And to all of my friends—let’s show up for someone who has spent so many years showing up for others. Grab your copy of Over a Cup of Coffee, pour yourself a cup, and spend a little time with Jamie through the pages of her very first book. ❤️
