We are writing to officially acknowledge that the sun has set on Sakaya 坂屋 (for now). And so we want to thank each of you for the support we were showered with down to the very last day!
I’m afraid we received so much support in this last week that there were moments I wanted to shout, “Too much love!!” 😫😂 We couldn’t keep up with the demand, there were long wait times, and we just couldn’t attend to each individual as we would have liked. We would like to apologize for that.😔
But it meant so much to us that you all came and enjoyed our food and friendship this last year. 🥹
As you may have heard, we will be following up on a possible opportunity for our family in Arizona. But until we actually leave Farmington, many of the baked goods we offered on our last day are available to order from our home bakery. They can be baked and delivered on the same day:
