In 1965 Texas Bar-B-Q was about to make history in Dallas, thanks to Charles Marshall. Charles opened his first Marshall's Bar-B-Q in downtown Dallas, which became quite a mark in the restaurant industry. He and his wife Deloris had their hands full with a booming restaurant. Lines out the door became common place to taste his mouth watering slow smoked brisket and homemade sides. His recipes and attention to detail have been passed along to the next generation of Marshalls and wouldn’t you know, even after almost 50 years, lines out the door are still common place. Marshall’s Bar-B-Q has two restaurant locations in the Carrollton and the Farmers Branch area. Easy to find and super convenient. The Carrollton location has a drive through to help you feed your crowd fast. We are dedicated to preserving a fantastic Bar-B-Q tradition. Our food is a piece of Texas that we would like to preserve for the upcoming generations. The family owned restaurant is still operated with the same care and ideals that Charles set forth more than 45 years ago. We started out as a simple BBQ Sandwich shop with just a few tables. News about the quality of our great food spread quickly, and we soon had to expand into a larger location.

After 60 years, we’re down to our final 7 days in Farmers Branch.

It’s been an honor serving you, hearing your stories, and sharing so many meals together. This place has always been about more than BBQ—it’s been about community.

Come see us one last time before we close our doors here. We’ll still be cookin’ in Carrollton and through catering!

Rumors are true: After 60 incredible years, the Marshall’s family is saddened to share we’ll be closing our Farmers Branch location, with our final day on April 30.

Due to future development plans and the inability to secure a long-term lease, this chapter is coming to a close—but Marshall’s Bar-B-Q isn’t going anywhere.

Our Carrollton location on Rosemeade Parkway remains open, and our catering division is still going strong.

Thank you for decades of support, memories, and loyalty—it has meant everything to us. We hope to see you in Carrollton or through DoorDash. Be sure to follow us on Facebook & Instagram to stay connected.
