We’re Charles and Sandra, the new proud owners of Sweet Sundaes Ice Cream Shop formerly known as Captain Cones Ice Cream!

If you’ve stopped by recently, you’ve probably noticed a few exciting changes, like the fresh new décor, a splash of color, and of course, our brand new name. But don’t worry, we’ve kept most of your favorite flavors, added some awesome new ones, and most importantly..kept the friendly, familiar staff you know and love.

We’ve done our best to make this transition smooth and fun for everyone. Many of you have already come in to say hello, and we absolutely love the support and great feedback. Your kindness means the world to us!

Hello Ice Cream Lovers! Big news from Captain Cone’s Ice Cream

After an amazing run serving up smiles and scoops, it’s time for us to pass on the torch. Captain Cone’s is officially stepping aside and leaving the shop in some very familiar and trusted hands.

Sweet Sundaes is the new name taking over, run by none other than our very own Sandra, her awesome husband Chuck, and yes, the legend himself, Jacob the Great, is still behind the counter doing his thing.

This is not a goodbye, it’s just the start of a new chapter. Same location, new name, same great people who know their way around a scoop.

Friday 5 PM until late
Saturday and Sunday 11 AM to 2 PM and then again 5 PM to 11 PM

Come out, show your support, and welcome Sweet Sundaes the right way, with some ice cream and good vibes.

Thank you all for the years of love, laughs, and loyalty. This ride has been nothing short of unforgettable. As my dad put it best, you all restored his faith in humanity, and honestly we feel the same.

Captain Cone's Ice Cream is officially closed for the season.

We want to sincerely thank each of our awesome guests for what's been an other amazing season in Waquoit here at Captain Cones Ice Cream! From our loyal and friendly regulars to those who just discovered us, your love for our ice cream and good conversation has brought joy to us every day, all season, and we're going to miss seeing you all.

With the parlor now officially closed, we wanted to make sure each of you know much you've made every day this season something to look forward to and how appreciated you are.
